You have to be different.
You can’t be the next guy. The next guy is like… the next guy. You have to be you. And you in a really different and standout way.
There are only a few things that I think make marketing work on a macro level.
And this comes from many years of marketing management experience.
#1 – your sales team is your most important asset you have. Listen to what they have to say, they know what is going on and they are offering you gems. Bank those gems.
#2 – who is buying your product? Do you know? If you don’t, then you have some work to do.
#3 – run campaigns. If you are chugging along and not much is happening. Run a campaign. Tell the world what you are up to. Your leads, customers and social media followers are listening. What do you want them to do? Ask them…request they do something?
#4 – Sell them something. It could be online. It could be in-store. However you do the selling, it is a checkmark. High fives and checkmarks for yourself and for your team.
#5 – Follow-up. You have shared some info or sold something to your lead. Make it count. Can I send you some additional info? Did you like the product? Would you like to write us a testimonial or review?
